Demystifying Life: how to live it, love it and have it. The Big 7 in your life – Part 2. Your Mind.
What does Power mean to you?
Is it control, freedom to do what you want, influence over others, glamour, money, fame, high social status? Or perhaps you are coming from a different point of view and you find the source of your inner Power in looking forward to your eternal and better existence – some time – after you die?
We alone define our own Power, and our own limitations. Whether your take on Power is based on social or religious conditioning, personal desires or longing for a better world and afterlife, it is always your choice. And such choice rarely reflects the true Power of your Mind. It is more likely based on Your Vision of the World and Your Vision of Yourself.
Remember that consciousness is, what it is: a vibration, a current, a signal that lasts as long as it is developing/progressing and remaining aware of itself. To learn more about the consciousness that we are, you might want to have a look at the works of the theoretical quantum physicist Dr. Fred Alan Wolf, who was featured in the movie “What the Bleep Do We Know?”. He brought cutting edge quantum theory down to earth and, further, by heralding proof of ancient spiritual principles for a mainstream audience, became the first physicist ever to break into pop culture as a celebrity.
As the consciousness that we are, we do have a choice to either persist or perish. There is a way to sustain the existence of the consciousness that we are – through Progress: which allows for constant development of our awareness. The consciousness that we are is not limited to either the material or spiritual world, and it won’t perish as long as it is progressing and remaining aware of itself.
What you do with the Power of Your Mind is your choice. Whether we believe it or not – what we think, we become. No other power in the world has equally profound effect on our life journey as the Power of our own Mind. No matter what our circumstances, no matter where we were born, no matter where we are going – we all can learn and use the Power of our Mind. For some, it will be a longer process. Others have already been doing it, without being conscious of it. The Power of our Mind can be altered, trained or induced. The Power of our Mind is simply a tool. A tool helping us to better understand ourselves, the world we live in, to find our purpose, to look into our Heart, and then convey its Truth.
To free our Heart from fear of life, we need to first look into our Mind.
Freedom from any limitations begins in our Mind. Freedom from limitations is the base of Happiness, and when it comes to Freedom and Happiness there is nobody else who can give it to us, but ourselves.
Nelson Mandela said: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.”
Remember: our Mind can be trained. Human brain constantly keeps evolving and altering. Our brainwaves change according to what we’re doing and feeling. For instance, Beta brainwaves (of a frequency 12 to 38 HZ) dominate our normal waking state and are present when we are alert, focused, engaged in problem solving, decision-making, judgment or any form of focused mental activity. On the other hand, Alpha brainwaves (8 to 12 HZ) (are present when we slow down, quiet our thoughts, in a relaxation state - but not quite meditate. Thanks to Alpha, we can be present in the “here and now”, with the highest capacity for learning, almost genius-like.
The most intriguing for science, however, are not only Delta or Theta brainwaves (occurring in deep meditation and sleep), but especially Gamma waves, related to expanded consciousness, altruism, and the ‘higher virtues’. Researchers are still puzzled by the fact, that Gamma rhythms modulate perception and consciousness, disappearing under anesthesia, or in a deep trance. Another mystery is how Gamma is generated – since its frequency is above neuronal firing.
Any process that changes your perception - changes your brainwaves. You can learn how to use the brainwaves to improve your intelligence, expand your vision, and alter the reality that you live in.
The Power of your Mind has no limits, other than those you have imposed on yourself. Embrace your true Power, by opening your Mind. Let yourself be the Magnificent You, you were meant to be.

THE BIG 7 IN YOUR LIFE: 1. YOUR BODY
When we are being born - the first thing we notice is our Body. It breathes, it moves – it works for us 24/7. Our Body is our most loyal, dedicated friend. If it fails us in any way – it is never its fault. Your Body believes what you say. Whatever you think of yourself, however you perceive yourself in terms of your health, strength, endurance or beauty - becomes the reality for your Body.
The ancient cultures knew that, and created a whole system of symbols to affect, inspire, and create the reality for themselves (usually via the pineal gland). Yes, you can help your wellbeing, you can shape your Body with your thoughts and you can help your health. In an article in the “Smithsonian” titled “A Molecular Code Links Emotions, Mind and Health”, Stephen S. Hall wrote: “The classic view of the body as three separate systems is challenged as research points the way to the new medicine of the 21st century. Some biologists believe we need to rethink some long-cherished principles, beginning with medicine's traditional separation of the central nervous system (the seed of thought, memory and emotion) from the endocrine system (which secrets powerful hormones) and the immune system (which defends the body from microbial invasions.)”
Think of your Body kindly, and it will respond with love. Our Body is no accident or necessity. It is a privilege that we give ourselves. However, we often forget this. We forget that each of us is unique, one in billions. That's why we don’t notice the simple truth: EVERY BODY, regardless of its shape, weight, color or age is beautiful - in its own unique way. Yes, all of us have a preference for what we like the most. However, please keep in mind: these are ONLY preferences. And our preferences are simply associated with current trends, or the way we have been programmed by our environment.
Preferences, just as trends, often change. Nowadays, current trends are dictated by the fact that many corporations try to sell their products (pills for weight loss, cosmetic surgery, diets, programs etc.) The media and the fashion magazines reinforce such trends, imprinting them into our consciousness. Unfortunately, a lot of people, mainly women, buy such artificially induced fashions as truth about their bodies and lose their self-esteem, believing that there is something wrong with them.
While current fashions push the overly skinny image on society - not everyone is naturally slim. Many teenagers try to look as the super models, ruining their health and developing serious illnesses – while attempting to change the natural shape of their bodies. Every natural Body is unique, and beautiful. Why force our Bodies to become something else - often at the cost of our physical and emotional health?
If we take a look at other animals in nature (we humans are animals as well) – we realize that they perceive ALL Bodies as equally precious. Imagine the reaction of a Bulldog - if you told him that he was too fat. Or picture a Greyhound’s response, if you told him he’s too skinny. If you told a Chiwawa dog that he’s too short, or a Great Dane that he’s too tall – they’d probably roar from laughter for a week straight!
All weight gain occurring due to cycles in our life, such as hormonal changes, aging process etc. – is absolutely normal, natural. Our Bodies often become rounder because of their nature. There is nothing to correct, all is the way it is supposed to be. On the other hand, if we become overweight or overly skinny because of neglecting our health – that of course needs to be addressed. It is important to treat your Body as your best friend: offer it gifts, such as vitamins, natural supplements, healthy, nourishing food, fresh air, proper exercise, clothes or jewelry that you find attractive – anything that makes you happy.
When we treat our Body in a caring, loving way, it will gain only as much weight as it is natural for its life cycles and it will age in a graceful, natural way. However, if we treat it with resentment or lack of love – feeding it with stress, lack of appropriate sleep, food that wears it out instead of nourishing – it will, indeed, lose its natural joy of life and fail us. Our Bodies love life, and want us to love life. They are happy, when we are happy.
They help us to fulfill our dreams, achieve success and fill our life with happiness. And, if we become ill – hey, that’s not a reason to stop loving our Bodies, denying ourselves the joy of life. Just as we love our dearest friends, no matter how they look, or how they feel – healthy or ill – let’s love our Bodies in sickness as well. EVERY BODY is beautiful. Skinny, round, tall, short, young, old – healthy or not. It is important to remember that. Enjoy your day. And enjoy your beautiful Body! :)
